KITTEN/CAT DEPOSIT

We accept nonrefundable kitten or cat deposits from families as a show of their good faith in their commitment to purchase a kitten or cat from our Cattery. The Nonrefundable Kitten or Cat Deposit amount will go towards your picked kitten or cat purchase price.
The pet deposit is $500. Breeding and show deposit is $1000.
Please do not pay a Nonrefundable Kitten or Cat Deposit until your Kitten Application has been vetted and approved and you have spoken personally to us via phone as part of the vetting process. We have three ways you can pay your Non-Refundable Kitten Deposit:
1. Send, via Zelle Money Transfer, from your bank to our bank. Please request the correct Zelle information from us. There is no additional charge for paying the deposit this way.
2. Venmo
3. MoneyGram
Once the Kitten or Cat Deposit is made, you will receive a copy of the NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery Sales Contract. Please read the Sales Contract thoroughly. Please get in touch with us if you would like to review the sales contract before submitting a nonrefundable kitten or cat deposit.

NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery has the express right to cancel a Sales Contract with a Purchaser if, at any time before the kitten or cat leaves the Cattery, NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery determines that the placement of a kitten with the Purchaser will be harmful in any way to the kitten or NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery. All money paid to NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery towards the purchase price of the kitten or cat will be refunded to the Purchaser if NEOBEA SHADOW Cattery cancels this contract under this clause.
The price of each kitten or cat is individual and depends on many factors, such as quality, gender, color, age, bloodline, and others.
The price of a pet is between $1500 and $2500.
The price for breeding and showing is between $3000 and $5000.

The price of a cat/kitten is based on the breeder's costs for:
- parents
- exhibitions
- emergency veterinarian care
- genetic testing
- general health checkups
- vaccinations and deworming
- breeding documents
- supplementation for pregnant cats, breeding males, and kittens
- feeding the parents and kittens
- litter (bought in TONS 😉 )
- cat gadgets
- scratching posts
- apartment cat supplies
- maternity wards and cat nurseries
- kennels
- fuel and cat transport
- cleaning and disinfecting products
- equipment to help keep the house clean (dehumidifiers, dryers, ozonates, steamers, lamps, etc.)
- actual losses caused by cats (new sofas, wallpaper, floors, etc.)
- website maintenance
- photographer or camera
Plus, everything else I forgot(...)
And there's something else... that can't be quantified:
TIME, HEART, and WORK.
- Sleepless nights
- Constantly caring for kittens
- Gaining knowledge about kitten behavior, health, and genetics
- Unpaid leave from work
- Thousands of hours on the phone with people interested in buying a cat
- Thousands of hours on instant messaging with people who have cats from us
- Time spent talking to other breeders to exchange experiences
- Time spent helping strangers who don't even have a cat from us, but are having problems with theirs
- Vacations devoted to giving birth or socializing kittens
- Time for photos, videos, and all the media coverage
- Time for cuddling and petting cats, socializing kittens
- A whole lot of heart and dedication on many levels while raising a litter
- Caring for the kittens' parents all year round

Each kitten goes to a new owner no earlier than 12 weeks of age. Vaccinated and dewormed after a complete veterinary examination and with a health certificate. If you have sent a deposit for a kitten before the kitten is 12 weeks old, you will receive updated information and photos every two weeks. After sending the deposit and the kitten reaches the required age, you have 3 weeks to pay the remaining amount and receive the kitten. NEOBEA SHADOW CATTERY is not committed to keeping a kitten or cat for more than 3-4 weeks under these conditions.​
